Rules and Regulations:
Discrimination of any sort (race, gender, sexual persuasion) while out of character will not be tolerated. You will be banned forthwith.
No OOC fighting with other members. We're all here to RP and have fun, so let's keep things friendly.
In general, this board is rated PG-13. Profanity is perfectly legal--encouraged, in fact. However, if you start a thread that has graphic sex in it, please put a warning in the title. Just a simple [R] or [X] will do. Since you can't warn young eyes away from your signature, however, please keep that clean as well.
This is a mid-level RP site, so try to make responses at least two paragraphs long. We're not all about speed here; if you take a little longer to write a well-thought-out post, that's cool. Don't just give us a single line of dialogue; tell us what's going on inside the character's head. Also, spell-check is your friend, and so is the English language. Please spare us the chatspeak.
No spamming. That's one-word responses, emoticon responses, or advertising outside of the advertising section. Do this, and you will land yourself in Banned-ville.
When creating a character, try to be creative and original. I don't want to see any Harry Potters or Bella Swans out there. Also, please do not make them all-powerful and flawless. Nobody is perfect, and everybody has to take few punches sometimes.
There is no limit if you want to create multiple characters. However, each character must have a separate account, and you must remain active on all the accounts. You cannot only post on one account and ignore all the others.
When your character is accepted, please change your display name to the name of that character.
For the love of all that is holy, no God-modding! You can only control your characters, no one else's. God-modding will get you banned like nothing else will, and when you die, you will go to a very special circle of Hell. The one reserved for child molesters. And people who talk in the theater.
When choosing a celebrity face for your character, use only real pictures, please. If you have a remarkable, realistic, astonishingly good picture of your character AND your application is fantastic, then I can bend this one for you. Anime and manga images, however, are not allowed, no exceptions. (I love it too, but them's the breaks.)
Just to clarify, you cannot create an Infected character. I can't imagine that anyone will want to, since the Infected don't have much personality to speak of, but just in case you were thinking about it, no.
To show that you've actually read these rules, when asked in your application, "What do you think of this situation?" respond, "It could be worse".
